Casas Salvadas was the second SHV housing development to be awarded Low Income Housing Tax Credits through the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. This project involved the purchase and rehab of 25 units of severely distressed rental housing. The project includes five separate buildings scattered throughout several Spokane Community Development Block Grant neighborhoods. Total development costs were approximately $1.5 million.
